In a chilling case that has shocked the Sunshine State, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced that two illegal aliens accused of heinous crimes against a young girl could face the death penalty if convicted.

The suspects, identified as Josue David Mendez-Sales, 26, and Pablo Neftaly Cobon-Mendez, 23, are both from Guatemala and crossed the border illegally. Their arrest follows a horrifying incident involving a 7-year-old girl in West Palm Beach.
According to authorities, the sexual assault investigation began after the young victim confided in her babysitter on July 30. She revealed that she had been repeatedly abused by Mendez-Sales and Cobon-Mendez, individuals she knew well. The abuse reportedly took place at Sunset Apartment Complex, with evidence of physical injuries and bruising indicating ongoing mistreatment.
