A new set of declassified documents has reignited the long-smoldering scandal now known as Obamagate, and this time it delivers stunning vindication for retired General Michael Flynn.
A once-classified email written by former National Security Advisor Susan Rice — sent to herself on Inauguration Day, no less — is now public, and its contents are damning. The message outlines a key White House meeting on January 5, 2017, just weeks before President Donald Trump took office. In that meeting were some of the biggest names in the Obama administration: President Barack Obama, then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, disgraced FBI Director James Comey, and Rice herself.
In the email, Rice recorded Obama’s statement: “From a national security perspective, President Obama said he wants to be sure that, as we engage with the incoming team, we are mindful to ascertain if there is any reason we cannot share information fully as it relates to Russia.”
That’s not a casual remark — it shows deliberate intent to withhold intelligence from the duly elected incoming administration.
