ICE Just Unleashed Hell on Violent Gangs

In a major win for law and order, federal agents just landed a decisive blow against one of the nation’s most brutal and underreported street gangs. A notorious gang leader who left a trail of blood across Massachusetts was finally brought to justice—and the punishment is sending a cold chill through gang circles from coast to coast.

The man at the center of it all? A vicious enforcer known on the streets as “Sosa.” But his real name is Aaron Diaz Liranzo, and thanks to the relentless work of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), his reign of terror has come to an end—for at least 14 years.

Liranzo, only 26 years old, led the Lynn, Massachusetts chapter of the ultra-violent Trinitarios gang—one of the deadliest street gangs operating in the U.S. While serving as the chapter’s “Primera,” or top boss, from 2021 to 2025, he oversaw a brutal crime wave that included multiple homicides, attempted murders, and savage assaults.

He wasn’t some low-level thug. He was a calculating commander in an organized crime syndicate with its own internal hierarchy, rules, and war tactics. Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton didn’t flinch when he slammed down the gavel with the maximum sentence federal prosecutors requested. The message was clear: America’s patience with these violent criminals has run out.
