Less than two days after Israel and Iran agreed to a ceasefire, Netanyahu received a summons from an Israeli court demanding his testimony in an ongoing legal case—set for Monday. The timing couldn’t be more outrageous. The prime minister just led the Jewish state through a historic military confrontation, but the left-wing courts refuse to grant him even a moment to recover.
This relentless campaign bears striking resemblance to the political witch hunts orchestrated by Democrats in the U.S. In fact, President Donald Trump, currently attending the NATO Conference in The Hague, didn’t mince words when he blasted this outrageous development.
“I was shocked to hear that the State of Israel, which has just had one of its Greatest Moments in History, and is strongly led by Bibi Netanyahu, is continuing its ridiculous Witch Hunt against their Great War Time Prime Minister!”
Trump went further, praising Netanyahu’s leadership during one of the most dangerous moments in Israel’s history.
“Bibi and I just went through HELL together, fighting a very tough and brilliant longtime enemy of Israel, Iran, and Bibi could not have been better, sharper, or stronger in his LOVE for the incredible Holy Land.”
“Bibi Netanyahu was a WARRIOR, like perhaps no other Warrior in the History of Israel… a complete elimination of potentially one of the biggest and most powerful Nuclear Weapons anywhere in the World…”
Despite the overwhelming success of the operation, Netanyahu is once again being dragged before a court over charges Trump called “politically motivated” and “concerning cigars, a Bugs Bunny doll, and numerous other unfair charges.” The case, which has dragged on since May 2020, marks the first time a sitting Israeli Prime Minister has stood trial.
Trump’s fury was unmistakable.
“Such a WITCH HUNT, for a man who has given so much, is unthinkable to me. He deserves much better than this, and so does the State of Israel.”
He then called for the entire trial to be shut down immediately:
“Bibi Netanyahu’s trial should be CANCELLED, IMMEDIATELY, or a Pardon given to a Great Hero, who has done so much for the State… It was the United States of America that saved Israel, and now it is going to be the United States of America that saves Bibi Netanyahu.
