Only one justice dissented from the decision: leftist Biden appointee Ketanji Brown Jackson.
But apparently, Judge Chen couldn’t care less about what the highest court in the land says.
“While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management,” his office said. “The President and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians.”
The judge, who is based in San Francisco, issued a stay back in March to freeze Trump’s efforts to dismantle Biden’s controversial parole pipeline that has flooded American cities with migrants from Venezuela and other nations. Despite that stay now being rendered irrelevant by the Supreme Court, Chen is demanding compliance from the DOJ anyway — acting as if he’s above the law of the land.
This judicial overreach comes amid a growing backlash to President Biden’s mass-migration agenda, which has seen more than half a million foreign nationals flown into the U.S. on “humanitarian parole” under his CHNV (Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, Venezuela) program. These entrants are not refugees, nor asylum seekers. They are handpicked and airlifted in with little vetting — then dumped into unsuspecting American communities, many in Republican-controlled states.
It was previously reported that 81% of Haitians in the parole program — a staggering 362,000 out of 448,000 — were transported into red states. In one horrifying case, a Haitian migrant paroled into the U.S. was later charged with triple homicide, including the murder of two children.
Yet even as chaos spreads and violent crime soars, Judge Chen is more concerned with protecting documents than protecting Americans.
Earlier this year, the Department of Justice made clear that parole programs like Biden’s are discretionary. The government has full authority to start or stop them as it sees fit. But that hasn’t stopped leftist judges from playing political games in the courts — and now, with Chen’s latest stunt, even from defying Supreme Court rulings.
To make matters worse, this entire battle centers around migrants who weren’t just allowed in illegally — they were actively invited in by the Biden administration using federal programs, mobile apps like CBP One, and dubious legal frameworks.
The result? Over one million illegal aliens granted entry under a thin veil of legality. And that doesn’t even include the millions who’ve poured across the southern border with zero documentation.
President Trump has made it clear that the days of soft immigration enforcement are over.
He’s issued a stark warning to all migrants who’ve overstayed or entered unlawfully through Biden’s parole schemes: self-deport, or be arrested and removed.
As the 2024 election heats up, immigration is once again shaping up to be a battlefield issue — and judges like Edward Chen are making it abundantly clear where their loyalties lie.
Whether this latest judicial mutiny stands remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: the Supreme Court just got steamrolled by an Obama judge in open rebellion.
