Garcia, the poster child for the Left’s anti-deportation agenda, has a disturbing past. In addition to being identified as an MS-13 member, his own wife reportedly filed multiple protection orders after he allegedly assaulted her. Tennessee police also pulled him over on suspicion of human trafficking. This is the man Democrats are fighting to bring back into the United States.
Instead of focusing on public safety or the concerns of American families, Goldman chose to go to bat for someone with a violent and criminal history. It’s a move that typifies the left’s ongoing detachment from reality and national priorities.
The backlash from Americans has already been felt at the ballot box. In 2024, voters delivered a clear rebuke to Democrats and their open-border policies. The idea that elected officials would prioritize the rights of an illegal alien over the safety of U.S. citizens is exactly the type of radicalism voters rejected.
Yet here was Goldman — who previously made headlines as one of the lead lawyers during the failed Trump impeachment saga — once again using his platform to wage war against common sense and public safety.
And Noem wasn’t having it.
As Homeland Security Secretary, she’s made it clear that national security begins with strong borders, rule of law, and putting Americans first — not bending the knee to international activist groups or foreign governments.
