Fox News sadly was no exception. Their latest poll painted a bleak picture, claiming that 55 percent of Americans disapprove of President Trump’s job performance.
Anchor John Roberts took those numbers straight to Deputy White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller. He grilled Miller about polls suggesting Trump faces massive disapproval, particularly on inflation and tariffs, with numbers reportedly at 59 and 58 percent.
Miller didn’t pull punches. He made it clear who he believes the real problem is — and it’s not President Trump.
“I don’t want to make things awkward for you, John, but it is our opinion that Fox News needs to fire its pollster,” Miller declared.
The truth Miller laid bare was brutal. He reminded viewers that the same Fox News pollsters were dead wrong before — and history is simply repeating itself.
“But, I won’t surprise you with that. I don’t think you’re surprised that I’m saying that. But the Fox News pollster has always been wrong about President Trump. They were the ones who said all summer long that Kamala Harris was gonna be the 47th president of the United States. So, we don’t acknowledge any of that polling,” Miller added.
That summer’s polling fiasco was just one example. In reality, Fox’s pollsters have consistently missed the mark when it comes to measuring the MAGA movement’s strength.
Even as the government releases new reports showing inflation cooling faster than experts predicted — a clear win for Trump’s economic approach — Fox continues pushing doom-and-gloom polling that doesn’t match reality on the ground.

After Miller’s blistering remarks, John Roberts quickly moved to defend Fox’s pollsters.
“You might have been watching earlier when Stephen Miller joined us here on America Reports. He made a remark that was critical of our polling but here at Fox News we stand by our polling as we always have,” Roberts insisted.
But not everyone at Fox News leadership seems convinced the polling operation is beyond reproach.
According to Donald Trump, even Fox’s powerful founder Rupert Murdoch knows the polling division is a problem — and has for a long time.
“Rupert Murdoch has told me for years that he is going to get rid of his FoxNews, Trump Hating, Fake Pollster, but he has never done so. This ‘pollster’ has gotten me, and MAGA, wrong for years. Also, and while he’s at it, he should start making changes at the China Loving Wall Street Journal. It sucks!!!” President Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Trump’s post pulled no punches. If Murdoch really believes his network’s pollster is broken, why hasn’t he acted? It’s a question many loyal viewers are asking right now.
As Trump ramps up his 2024 campaign and the establishment media works overtime to distort his popularity, Fox News faces a pivotal decision: continue standing by a pollster that gets it wrong, or finally listen to the movement that helped build their audience.
One thing is certain — the MAGA base won’t easily forget who stood with them and who didn’t when it mattered most.
