Democrats, meanwhile, are losing their minds over Trump’s border success. And no one is having a bigger meltdown than Michelle Obama. Her fears, as she describes them, sound more like a dystopian novel than the reality of enforcing immigration laws.
“It’s not the fear for myself anymore,” Obama explained. “I drive around in a four-car motorcade with a police escort. I’m Michelle Obama. I do still worry about my daughters in the world, even though they are somewhat recognizable.”
It’s remarkable: Michelle Obama genuinely believes her daughters are safe only because they are famous. The paranoia is so intense that she imagines Trump’s administration might snatch people off the streets in secret — something that has absolutely no basis in reality.
“My fears are for what I know is happening out there in streets all over the city,” Obama continued. Yet there’s no evidence to support that Americans, particularly citizens or legal immigrants, are at risk of random deportations. What is happening is the enforcement of laws against illegal immigration — something Trump has made a cornerstone of his platform, to the cheers of millions.
Michelle didn’t stop there. Predictably, she pulled the race card. According to Obama, Trump’s focus on immigration is fueled by racism, not the desire to uphold the law. “There’s so much bias and so much racism and so much ignorance that fuels those kind of choices,” she complained. “I worry for people of color all over this country, and I don’t know that we will have the advocates to protect everybody.”
Her argument ignores the facts: illegal aliens aren’t being targeted because of skin color — they’re facing deportation because they broke the law by crossing the border unlawfully. Race has nothing to do with it. Enforcing immigration laws equally isn’t racism — it’s the duty of a nation to protect its sovereignty.
Still, Michelle painted a dire picture, wringing her hands over the idea that illegal immigrants might now have to worry about the consequences of breaking the law. “And that … frightens me, it keeps me up at night,” she said. “How do you, how do you feel comfortable going to work, going to school, when you know that there could be people out here judging you and who could upend your life in a second — that’s who I worry for right now.”

Obama didn’t forget to toss in the “due process” argument, falsely suggesting that Trump’s administration ignores basic legal protections. She said the government was “indiscriminately determining who belongs and who doesn’t,” and that “we know that those decisions aren’t being made with courts and with due process.”
In reality, every deportation case involves an immigration judge, hearings, and legal proceedings. Illegal aliens are given their day in court — a far cry from the grim fairy tale Obama is spinning. What Democrats like Michelle really want is for illegal immigrants to have endless appeals like murder suspects — a tactic designed to grind the entire system to a halt.
As Trump continues to focus on securing the border and restoring law and order, Michelle Obama’s emotional tirades only highlight how out of touch the Democrat elite have become with the American people.
